ROBYN BRYANT
COMPOSER
FOR FILM AND VISUAL MEDIA
" Working with Robyn on The Dining Table was one of the most creatively engaging and rewarding experiences of my film career this far. Her ability and empathy to interpret our conversations into music that elevates is second to none. It would be an honor to work with her again. " - Chris Hines (The Dining Table)

Committed to scoring projects with an important message, Robyn’s credits include Raids, directed by Jade Jackson, about the treatment of Pacific Island families during the New Zealand dawn raids, which enjoyed a successful festival run including the New Zealand International Film Festival and Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival, and the drama The Dining Table, which focused on the treatment of sign language in New Zealand. Robyn created an orchestral score to the live cinema show Borders & Margins about the 1953 East German uprising, which premiered at BATS theatre.
Robyn is a contributor to Sick Muse Music, based in Los Angeles, where her music is featured in major international TV programs. Her background includes contributing music to multiple theatre productions, including the internationally-touring Suitcase Show, and mentorship from Emmy Award-winning music editor and composer Stephen Gallagher (“The Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim, Beatles: Get Back“).
“I cannot recommend Robyn highly enough. She is incredibly creative and prolific, dedicated and hardworking, and she’s a delight to work with. Her work is detailed and specific, both as a composer and musician, yet she is very open to notes, ideas and suggestions. I had a very specific brief for the score of the film, and she not only fulfilled that, she took it to a place I couldn’t have imagined. She has made an incredible contribution to my film.”
- Mike Smith (The People We Love, Outrageous Fortune)
